Our Venue and Our Purpose

A Note About Hooters

We understand that Hooters may not be everyone’s first choice for a community fundraiser. Dad’s Day Out, however, is not about promoting a venue. It is about bringing dads, local businesses and community supporters together to raise funds for the Go Local FXBG Internship Program.

The event will take place outdoors in the parking lot and will include cornhole, music, local vendors, promotional companies and community activities. The dunk tank is a traditional fundraising activity. It is not a wet T-shirt contest or an adult-themed attraction. Our focus is creating an enjoyable event that helps provide local students with meaningful internship opportunities.
